The Florida Lakes Symphony Orchestra will present their Saint Patrick’s themed concerts entitled “Irish Eyes” with an appearance of “Soloists of the Orchestra”. This will be a smaller group of talented musicians who will passionately play a special “Les Solistes” repertoire of virtuoso classical and popular music. It will be a lilting and poignant picture of the Emerald Isle on March 10 and 11, 2022
Each evening performance will begin with traditional Irish melodies that will be performed with some unexpected tunes generated by Irish settlers in our Native Land. “Wearing of the Green” would be appropriate for this lively and moving concert. As usual, there are planned surprises for the audience to savor. It will be a beautiful new concert event.

History of the Florida Lakes Symphony: In 2005, the internationally respected classical concert pianist and composer Guy Saint-Clair came to Lake County from their home in Europe with his wife and portrait/wildlife artist Audrey Sanders. That same year they established Lake County’s first professional symphony orchestra, the Florida Lakes Symphony Orchestra. Through the years, they have hosted a series of guest conductors from around the world. Virtuoso Bulgarian violinist Konstantin Dimitrov continues to anchor the orchestra since 2006 as Concert Master and violin soloist. With the immense guiding light and musical sense of the Founder, Guy Saint-Clair with supportive artistic and administrative skills of the co-founder, Audrey Sanders as Executive Director, this orchestra was established as a formidable force on the cultural scene of Central Florida.
