Lake Technical College invites you to attend the annual Career TechXpo at multiple events in April. The purpose of TechXpo is to showcase the 30 plus programs we offer in workforce training. Hands-on demonstrations in high-demand career fields will be available in Culinary, CNC Machining, Pharmacy Tech, Welding, HVAC, Law Enforcement, Firefighting and more!

David Beliveau, Automotive Collision Instructor, was asked why should students come to Career TechXpo? Beliveau said, “Everybody needs a five year plan and a goal for their life. Are you looking for a job or a career? Why settle for a temporary job when a career is something you will benefit from for the rest of your life.” Lake Technical College instructors enjoy this opportunity to show off their program areas, answer questions about their field and let you know what employers are hiring.

Admissions, Financial Aid and the Business Office will be able to answer your questions about registration and enrollment. For those in attendance, several $500 scholarships will be available to win. Current students will also be available to chat about their career training and future goals.

Career TechXpo is offered at the following campuses from 4:00pm – 6:00pm.

 Eustis – Monday, April 4 – Main Campus

 Tavares – Tuesday, April 12 – Institute of Public Safety

 Eustis – Monday, April 18 – Main Campus
