Clermont Police Once Again Emerged As Champions

Clermont Police once again emerged as champions for the third consecutive year at The Battle For Hope Fundraiser to benefit Find, Feed, Restore.

The friendly challenge between Police Chief Charles Broadway and his Cops vs. State Representative Taylor Yarkosky and his team of State Slayers was both competitive and hilarious. Though they tried, the Slayers were unable to unseat the Champs.

The Battle for Hope is not just a friendly competition; it’s a vital fundraiser for Find, Feed, Restore programs. The funds raised at the event help families in need. 

U.S. Naval Sea Cadets Corps, Clermont Battalion presented the Colors. Community remarks were given by Clermont Mayor Tim Murry and Groveland Mayor Evelyn Wilson.

Wesley Christian Center was filled to capacity! Living Hope Church received the Champion’s Award and U.S. Congressman Daniel Webster gave the invocation.
