Event Details
The City of Clermont will host its annual Pups in the Park event on Saturday, March 21, inviting residents and their four-legged companions to enjoy a morning of dog-friendly fun.
The free community event will begin at 9 am at Lake Hiawatha Preserve and is designed to celebrate dogs of all breeds and sizes while connecting pet owners with local resources and activities.
Pups in the Park will feature a variety of attractions for both pets and their owners, including a dog lure course, fun canine activities, and the popular “Puppuccino with a Cop” experience. The morning will also include opportunities for dog lovers to mingle, learn about pet care, and enjoy the park setting with their pets.
One of the highlights of the event is the SU”paw”hero Costume Contest, where participants are encouraged to dress their dogs as their favorite superheroes. Registration for the contest will take place onsite the morning of the event, and all entries must be signed up by 10 am.
The event will also feature vendors offering pet-safety resources, dog-related products, and services. Businesses and organizations interested in participating as vendors may do so at no cost, making it an ideal opportunity for those who work with pets or pet owners to showcase their offerings.
Organizers say the event is meant to be a fun and engaging way for the community to celebrate their pets while learning more about keeping them healthy and safe.
Those interested in sponsorship opportunities can contact Cory Cody with the City of Clermont at CCody@clermontfl.org for additional information.

If you have a middle or high schooler who loves the sizzle of a grill, it’s time to let them show off their skills. The 5th Annual Junior Grillmasters Competition, proudly presented by Publix, is firing up once again at this year’s Pig on the Pond Community Festival—and it’s one of the event’s most popular crowd-pleasers.
This friendly competition gives young chefs a chance to step into the spotlight with a hands-on, safe grilling experience, plenty of cheering from the crowd, and—of course—some serious bragging rights. Whether they’re already a backyard BBQ boss or just discovering their love for grilling, Junior Grillmasters is all about confidence, creativity, and fun.
Spots are limited, so families are encouraged to sign up early. Register here: https://www.eventeny.com/events/vendor/?id=42566
