Groveland is partnering with Find, Feed, Restore for an event aimed at supporting local families as they prepare for the upcoming school year. The Back 2 School Backpack Bash is set to take place on Saturday, July 27, starting at 10 am at the Nathaniel Community Gymnasium, hosted by Hope International Church, located at 13806 SR 33, Groveland.

This event is specifically designed for students in grades K-8, offering them essential school supplies to kick-start their academic journey. Each child attending the event will receive one backpack filled with necessary supplies, ensuring they are equipped for success from day one. It’s important to note that an adult must accompany each child to receive a backpack.

Beyond the backpack distribution, the Back 2 School Backpack Bash promises a fun-filled day for families. Vendors will be on hand to showcase community resources and services, providing valuable information to parents and guardians. A dedicated Kids Zone will keep the younger attendees entertained with activities and games, creating a lively atmosphere for all.

And what’s a summer event without a sweet treat? Attendees can indulge in free ice cream, adding a cool and tasty touch to the festivities.
