Join us for this hands on class in food preservation to learn and practice pressure canning.
This program will provide an overview of the pressure canning process, foods that can be pressure canned and important food safety practices. During the class, you will make your own jar canned green beans, using a weighted gauge canner. All materials are provided.

Pre-registration is required, space is limited. Participants must register by January 26, 2026.

Support the Cooper Memorial Library! Please shop the Winter Book Sale on January 30, 31st and February 2 from 9 AM to 3 PM. The Friends of the Library have collected a vast assortment of gently used books, DVDs, CDs, jigsaw puzzles, and craft materials. If you like mysteries, fiction, romance, history, religion, self-help, children’s, young adult, cooking and craft books, you are sure to find a treasure. Most books are priced from $.50 to a dollar with some specially marked. All funds collected support the Cooper Memorial Library programs.
