If you want to know about your family origin, Pastfinders of South Lake County, Genealogical Society, can help you get started. Beginner class are held on April 4th & 18th then again on May 2nd & 16th beginning promptly at 10 am.  Bring names, dates of births, death dates and place of residence on your parents & grandparents to get started.

Once both classes are completed, you can continue receiving help with your research on Tuesday and Thursday Help Sessions: Tuesday, April 3rd, 17th and 24th from 10:30 am – 1 pm; Thursday, April 5th, 19th, and 26th from 9:30 am – 12 pm.

Pastfinders will give you pointers on using genealogy software or preserve your documents at the Computer User Group once a month meeting from 1 pm – 3 pm on Wednesday, April 25th, and May 16th.
