The LCO Jazz Orchestra and BigBand from Orlando is hosting the Big Band Benefit Concert to benefit students who were displaced by Hurricanes Irma and Maria and now attending Windy Hill Middle School.  “This year we are going BIG! Our goal is 1000 attendees”, says Rick Kissisnger, WHMS Artistic Director Musician/Conductor.

The band will consist of approximately 48 musicians with the talents of Central Florida’s finest musicians and vocalists playing the most popular Big Band, Jazz, Swing and Pop tunes of the 40’s-90’s. It has incorporated local band directors and Middle School and High School jazz honor students

The concert will be held at Lake Minneola High School Performing Arts Center, 101 N. Hancock Rd., Minneola. Doors open at 2:30 pm, concert begins at 3:00 pm.
