Sheri Ford Lewin and volunteer high school students of Thrive Clermont spoke at the South Lake Chamber of Commerce May breakfast.

Thrive-Clermont Summer PopUps Series offers enrichment programs to South Lake County teens ages 13-17. Local teens have an opportunity to develop and expand their skills.

Local business owners and professionals who are volunteering their time to connect with and mentor youth in the community also provide a lot of the program’s content.

In 2017, nearly 200 teens enjoyed over 15 different activities for less than the cost of a movie ticket through Thrive Summer PopUps.This summer, Thrive is gearing up to serve even more teens through recreational, social and skill building activities every Tuesday evening in June. Teens choose one activity for the evening followed by food and music.  All for just $7 per PopUp!

Thrive Summer PopUps are made possible through the generous support of the City of Clermont, the United Way of Lake and Sumter Counties, and through partnerships with local businesses and community members.

Below are the Summer PopUps sessions. You can become part of the summer fun by  registering at  https://www.thriveclermont.org/summer-pop-ups
