The City of Clermont and the South Lake Chamber of Commerce hosted its first Salsa and Sips Festival and judging from the happy faces on the partygoers, it won’t be the last. The joyous celebration was held on Minneola Avenue, part of the newly restyled streetscape in Downtown Clermont.

People of all ages embraced the moment, and in spite of the rains, strolled among the food trucks, vendors and planned activities to indulge in Latina cuisine, cheer a Chihuahua to victory, participate in a domino tournament, climb a rock wall or compete in a salsa-making contest!

THERE WAS DANCING IN THE STREET

Those who just wanted to bring their lawn chairs and relax, enjoyed an evening of people watching and the Latin beats of Mambo Lebron and His Orchestra.

Holy Guacamole! It was a great evening.
