Mark your calendars! Everyone is invited to “Kids’ Safe Night Out” on Wednesday, October 31.  This fun, free family event will be held at the Minneola Trailhead Park from 5:30 pm to 8:30 pm.

This is an opportunity for families to participate in an entertaining and safe environment on Halloween night.  Participants are encouraged to bring a non-perishable food item to the event to benefit those less fortunate during the Thanksgiving season.

The City of Minneola is accepting donations of candy in advance of the event. Candy may be dropped off at Minneola City Hall during open business hours.

At “Kids’ Safe Night Out” there will be free food, carnival games galore, music, cool lights, lots of candy and hayrides.  There will also be baby pigs to hold, face painting, a photo booth, a rock wall, horses, an amazing bounce house and a strolling circus performer. And more candy!

If you attended last year, you know what a phenomenal time can be had by all, and once again we anticipate an awesome helicopter fly-in.

Minneola is proud to announce our South Lake event sponsors.  We gratefully acknowledge and thank Jayslights, Donut King, South Lake Chamber of Commerce, Tetra Tech, Incident Management Systems, Graphics Direct, Stone & Gerken PA, DreamCatcher Horse Ranch and Rescue Center Inc., WCA Waste Corporation, Power Stream Pressure Washing and the Lake County Sheriff’s Office.

This event is FREE and open to all ages. Don’t forget to bring a non-perishable item to donate. The City Minneola Trailhead Park is located at 315 Madison St, Minneola, FL, US, 34715.
