With over 500 dogs successfully rescued since its opening in the past three years, Polka Dogz Pet Rescue of Central Florida is now looking to expand from its current Winter Garden facility into a new home. Your support by adopting, fostering, volunteering and donating will help make this dream a reality.

New Home Needed! Polka Dogz Pet Rescue has been in a temporary facility for 3 years and after so many dogs coming through the doors, it’s just breaking down. Aaron Stein of Polka Dogz shares,We now desperately need to find a real home with a safe structure that we won’t have to evacuate every time there is a major storm. We really need a home where we can have a large fenced in yard for our dogs to run and play. Our current temporary home won’t hold out much longer.” Polka Dogz is hoping to relocate somewhere in the Winter Garden, Clermont, West Orange or East Lake.

Support & Donors Needed! If you believe in the mission of Polka Dogz to help rescue and care for needy loveable dogs, now is the time to help! Stein shares, “Any donation will help. For any $20 donation or more, we will be happy to upload your photograph to our Polka Dogz Giving Grid to tell everyone you are an essential part of the village that supports us”. Starting at $50 there are rewards for helping. With a $10,000 donation, you will become the very appreciated and loved ‘Big Dog’ with the new building will be named after you. Stein adds, “We, fortunately, have an anonymous donor who is willing to match our community donations up to $25,000 that will be made from now through the end of 2019. Polka Dogz Pet Rescue is a registered 501-C3 non-profit and their mission is to rescue, rehabilitate and re-home dogs while educating the community on responsible pet ownership. At Polka Dogz, they rely on dedicated volunteers and generous donors to maintain the rescue and medical treatment of all the dogs. With help from the Central Florida community, thousands of small dogs are saved each year. Rescue organizations are making great strides and combating animal abuse in all forms. Contributions are sincerely appreciated.
