If you haven’t attended a Bras For A Cause And Boxers Too themed event, you are missing an opportunity to have a magical evening while benefitting the Greater Clermont Cancer Foundation. The event theme, Puttin’ On the Glitz, is a runway show where Bras/Boxers are auctioned off. This year, there were 21 bras/boxers auctioned. The highest bid of the evening, $8,000! Most bids ranged between $300 – $3,000. A silent auction and 50/50 also added to the evening’s fun-raiser.
One of the guests said it perfectly, “It’s a fun evening. Participating in the bidding, being the winning bidder is exciting, but the goal of everyone here is raising money to support local families touched by cancer”.
Master of Ceremony Eileen Scates and Richie Brothers Auctioneers did an excellent job in keeping the gala entertaining and on track. An assortment of cocktails, appetizers, main dishes and desserts were provided by many of the local restaurants and businesses who dedicated their time and effort in support of the GCCF.
