In observance of Earth Day And Our Environment – the City of Clermont kicked-off the month by declaring April as Water Conservation Month.

Clermont Mayor Gail Ash read a proclamation at a City Council Meeting declaring Clermont as working to increase awareness and the importance of water conservation by educating citizens about how they can help save Florida’s precious water resources through educational programs and special events.

Drops Savers Poster Contest Winners will be announced at the Tuesday, April 23, Clermont council meeting. The meeting will be held at 6:30 pm. at Clermont City Hall.  These are students from Clermont Elementary Schools. During the council meeting, Drinking Water Week will also be proclaimed.
