Robbie Aristodemo is in his ninth year as head coach for the girls’ soccer team and also serves as assistant strength coach at Montverde Academy (MVA). His love and passion for soccer compel him to be involved in many different aspects of soccer in south Lake County. As a dedicated coach, he lead the MVA Lady Eagles to two consecutive State Champion titles and was voted the 2019 Women’s Coach of the Year at MVA.

Beyond his work at MVA, he coaches a U10 boys team in Clermont, which has lost only one game in the past two years. In the summer, he offers soccer camps for student-athletes to enhance their skills while pursuing their passion for the sport of soccer. If that isn’t enough, Coach Robbie does radio commentating for both home and away games for the Orlando City Soccer Club.

Coach Robbie is currently in the running for the USA Today High School Sports poll for Girls Soccer Coach of the Year. Please take a moment to support Robbie Aristodemo, local candidate, in the poll by voting HERE.

Jody Brown, a junior at Montverde Academy, is also in the running for USA Today High School Sports poll for Girls Soccer Player of the Year. Jody was the lead scorer on the girls’ varsity team and scored the winning goal in the State Championship off an assist from teammate Isabella Flanigan. The Lady Eagles enjoyed a historic undefeated season with an overall record of 23-0. Jody competed on the global stage as part of the Jamaican National team in the World Cup, playing the first game against one of her idols – Marta.

She has earned numerous accolades including the best young player in the CONCACAF at the age of 16, joining the CONCACAF XI Female Team with the likes of Alex Morgan (Member of Team USA and Player of the Year), and receiving the Victoria Mutual Y.O.U.T.H Award which recognizes a young, outstanding, upcoming, and talented headliner. With that award, she received a trophy and a cash prize of $150,000, which she donated to the SAFA and the Lime Hall School. She was also recognized with the Florida Dairy Farmers Miss Soccer title for 2019 as well.
