It’s time for the Friends of Cooper Memorial Library’s summer book sale. Individual books will be available July 26 and  27 beginning at 9 am to 1 pm. In addition to individual items, books by the box will be available July 29 from 9 am to 5 pm and July 30 from 9 am to 12 pm.  Books will cover a multitude of topics including history, crafts, sci-fi/fantasy, romance, mystery/thriller, westerns and more. While shopping for books, check out the puzzles, DVDs, CDs, audio books and vinyl records are also available for purchase. Suggested donations range from 25 cents to $2.00 per item with select books slightly higher.

Several local businesses and restaurants have donated gift cards and a gift basket for this fundraiser.  Tickets will be available for purchase throughout the four-day book sale. In addition, a representative from Collette Tours will be on hand July 26 and 27 with details of the March 2020 collaborative trip to Panama.

Cooper Memorial Library is an integral part of our community providing numerous programs for children and adults. Proceeds from this sale will help ensure resources will be available for programs that have been underfunded or are at risk of being underfunded, as well as help with the development and implementation of new programs.
