Tonight the City of Clermont mourns the passing of Ray Goodgame. Ray served on the Clermont City Council since 2004 and, although his health has been declining, his untiring efforts to improve his beloved city and his need to serve the community never wavered.
Ray played an active role in many organizations – a board member of the Cooper Memorial Library Association, a member of the Clermont Kiwanis Club, and the South Lake Chamber of Commerce, just to name a few.
Ray has left a lasting imprint on the community. It was a privilege to know Councilman Goodgame and his passing is a loss to our entire community
