Clermont Fish House, located at East Avenue/Hwy50, will be increasing its space by expanding into the recently vacated store directly next to them. The much-enlarged restaurant will offer sit-down dining, beer, wine and customers’ existing favorites.
Tons of dirt is being moved to pave the way for The Hills of Minneola, a master-planned community that consists of approximately 1,850 acres and a variety of uses occupying all four quadrants of the Florida Turnpike Interchange near Hancock Road. The “Hills” will include a mix of offices, shopping and residences. A Town Center will serve as a focal point for the community and the surrounding area with a system of pedestrian and bicycle paths and trails. The Hills of Minneola will bring new residences, retail, office and commercial use, as well as a new school.
Two additional car dealerships coming to Hwy 50, Clermont
– Kia will be located between Honda and Mazda on the south side of SR 50.
– Car Max will be on CR455 (directly off SR 50 behind shopping center) heading to Montverde.

Ellie Lou’s Brew and BBQ will be opening its second brew and BBQ location at 1391 Citrus Tower Blvd, (the building formally housing First Green Bank). Opening Due Date, November 2019.
Clermont Downtown Art Walk will break ground by 2020 with an estimated completion by the end of 2020. This festive new walkway will celebrate local artists. A covered pavilion and an open-air space for vendors to set up their tents is planned. There will be an opportunity for donors to get involved and be recognized with their names along the path. The Art Walk will be located between Minneola Avenue and Montrose St.
Kroger and Ocado – The city of Groveland recently welcomed Kroger/Ocado to the community. Kroger invested $55 million to build a 375,000-square-foot facility, which will be the second in America. The project is expected to create 300-400 new jobs. Visit Kroger and Ocado to learn more about the project. Congratulations Groveland.
Hwy 50
Bella Italian Bakery, a bakery using generational recipes and onsite baking will open soon. It’s located. next to Beef O’Brady’s
Fifty West broke ground on June 14. This will be a Class A office and retail space on Hwy 50.
Mind Masters Escape Room –The long awaited escape room has opened. A great team building or family experience. It’s located at 1453 E. Hwy 50, Clermont (located by Modern Orthodontics).

Tower Arcade and Lounge. 141 US Highway 27 at the Citrus Tower (Coming soon)
Dunkin Donuts – located near Citrus Tower Blvd. (south) and Hwy 27 (near Chick-fil-A). Expected to open in 2019.
Planet Fitness is coming to Hwy 27 by Anderson Hill Road, Clermont. There will be several businesses/restaurants lining 27 at Shoppes at Anderson Hill (by Planet Fitness) including Rita’s Italian Ice, Clean Eats and Smoothie King.
DOWNTOWN CLERMONT
Dash-Sports, rebranded from Gear for Multisports, is now opened at 741 W. Montrose. This is the second location. Dash-Sports is also located at the NTC.
Montrose Market, located on the corner on Montrose and 8thStreet, will open soon. It will house Sud’s Saloon Bar, Golden Hills Coffee Roasters, Jour de Crepe, Morthan Cheese, Box Grill, One Utopia, Brazilian Bites Gourmet, Real Deal American Grill and Poke Kai. Montrose Market is located at 752 West Montrose Street
Powell Studio, an architectural firm relocating to downtown Clermont, is expected to open soon at 713 W. Montrose St.
