FAITH Neighborhood Center (FNC) was founded in 1972 and has been in continuous operation since, providing assistance to low-income families and individuals in South Lake County. Through community support and volunteers, the center has been able to offer food, medical support in conjunction with the South Lake Community Health Center, educational/training opportunities, and assistance in applying for food stamps, Medicaid and Emergency Assistance to those in need.

Beta Theta-ESA sponsors an annual Mardi Gras-themed fundraiser donating the proceeds to charitable organizations serving the south Lake County community.  Because of the success of last year’s fundraiser, Eleanor Lofgren, a member of Beta Theta, recently visited Faith Neighborhood Center to present a donation and tour its facility located at 14727 Timber Village Rd., Groveland. (see FNC )

Save the Date!  Beta Theta’s next annual Mardi Gras Fundraiser will be held on March 14, 2020, at the Clermont Performing Arts Center.
