Join the City of Clermont and the South Lake Chamber of Commerce for the second annual celebration of all things salsa from 2-10 pm on September 14 in Downtown Clermont. Admission is free for this family-friendly event.

Enjoy Chihuahua races, domino competitions, a salsa making contest, live music and a Kids Zone with plenty of fun activities. Attendees also can stroll through the food court and taste a variety of cultural dishes.

“We look forward to seeing everyone at another great signature event in Downtown Clermont,” Clermont City Manager Darren Gray said.

Dance along as live Latin beats fill the streets: DJ Sammy, Orchestra Fuego, and Mambo Lebron and His Orchestra will perform on the Main Stage; you’ll find DJ Guerrero, Waldo Ivan and Awilda Hernandez on the Community Stage.

See why everyone enjoyed last year’s award-winning festival, which recently won first place from the Florida Festivals and Events Association as the best Multi-Agency Collaborative Program.

“We are excited to once again partner with the City of Clermont on the annual Sips and Salsa event,” said David Colby, president and CEO of the South Lake Chamber of Commerce. “Last year was a tremendous success for not only our business community but the community as a whole and we hope to continue to grow the event in the years to come.”
