The Central Florida Dreamplex (Dreamplex) and Harper Family Charitable Foundation, Inc. invite the community to support individuals with disabilities at the 7th Annual Central Florida Dreamplex Gala & Auction (Dreamplex Gala) October 26, 2019, at the Clermont Arts & Recreation Center.

The Dreamplex Gala will be an unforgettable evening featuring Kevin Brousard, a paralympic and world athlete; Samuel J. Comroe, a comedian as seen on NBC’s America’s Got Talent; and Clermont’s very own musical artist Kayslin Victoria, as seen on NBC’s The Voice.

Guests will enjoy an evening full of live entertainment, special performances by Dreamplex members, live and silent auctions, dinner and dancing. Proceeds from the gala will fund direct costs and scholarships for members with disabilities allowing them to participate in the sports and recreational programs offered by the Dreamplex.

“Every day, people with disabilities are being sidelined and their health is deteriorating because they don’t have the community support and fitness opportunities they need to thrive,” says Cameron Gomes, Executive Director of the Central Florida Dreamplex.  Located in Clermont near Highway 50 and Highway 27, the Dreamplex is “a place for people with disabilities to feel like they truly belong by providing them with athletic, therapeutic and recreational opportunities designed specifically for them.”  Football, Sled Hockey, Sit Waterskiing, Cheerleading, Music and Tae Kwon Do are just a few of the sports and recreation classes the Dreamplex offers.

Harper Family Charitable Foundation, Kalos Services and Calloway Roofing have continued their support of the Dreamplex as top sponsors of the annual gala.  Several sponsorships are still available for the event and can be found at www.cfldreamplex.com/gala/.

“We always welcome new faces and are excited about creating new partnerships within the community.  We feel we can best meet the needs of those we serve by connecting with people and organizations who have missions and values similar to ours,” explains Gomes.  UCF Athletics, Orlando City Foundation, Real Life Christian Church and Montverde Academy are just a few of the organizations that continue to support, endorse and/or partner with the Central Florida Dreamplex.

Tickets for the annual gala are expected to sell out.  For more information or to purchase tickets, visit www.cfldreamplex.com/gala/, The Central Florida Dreamplex Facebook page, www.facebook.com/cfldreamplex/ and Facebook event page will be updated regularly with details.  Tickets can be purchased at 25% off through Sept. 30.
