The Lake County Animal Shelter is celebrating a new partnership with PetSmart Charities by participating in National Adoption Weekend at the PetSmart at Lake Square Mall, located at 10401 US 441 in Leesburg from 2 – 6 pm on Friday, September. 13, and 11 am- 4 pm on Saturday, September 14 and Sunday, September 15.
The event will feature fee-waived pet adoptions on dogs and cats from the Lake County Animal Shelter. All adopters will receive a coupon book from PetSmart featuring discounts on pet supplies and services for their new family member.
“We are excited about this new opportunity with PetSmart to help us increase adoptions, and find more homes for homeless pets,” said Whitney Boylston, Director of Lake County Animal Services. “Moving forward, we plan to continue monthly adoption promotions at the Leesburg store.”
