Pinecrest Lakes Academy recently celebrated diversity and cultural differences at its annual multicultural festival. The students, grades K-8th, along with their teachers, staff and parent volunteers, selected a country and represented that country the fun way: they displayed cultural artwork, native dress, and food and drink samplings.
The students carried passports as they traveled the world and received stamps after interacting with the volunteers at each location.
