Cornerstone Hospice and Palliative Care seeks compassionate and caring people to help out at the Mike Conley Hospice House in Clermont as well as support Cornerstone patients in the South Lake community.

Cornerstone volunteers enjoy flexible hours and can choose the types of activities they’d like to participate in. Volunteers may have friendly conversations with a patient while a caregiver takes a break or may sit vigil with someone who is alone and in their last hours of life.

Cornerstone volunteers also prepare simple meals for patients at the Mike Conley Hospice House, may help patients with the care of their pets or honor fellow veterans.

Explanations on the various volunteer opportunities plus background on Cornerstone Hospice and hospice care will be covered in an upcoming volunteer training session:

Saturday, March 14 and March 21st (both days are required)

8:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.

2100 Oakley Seaver Drive, Clermont
