The Read to Sydney organization has for years partnered with the Kiwanis Club of Clermont to help children in the community.
Read to Sydney plays a vital role in helping children who have reading difficulties and children who simply love to read. Thom Battisto, the organization’s founder, is currently making plans to take Read to Sydney on the road with a mobile operation that can travel to various community events and school locations. The operation includes the purchase of a cargo-type van that can be retrofitted as a mini library and a home away from home for the organization’s service dog, Toby.
The Kiwanis Club of Clermont contributed a check in support of the Read to Sydney organization to help serve the children of South Lake County.
