Although Groveland’s Second Friday Farmers Market was originally scheduled to discontinue in March, the event has become so popular amongst its participants that the City will be extending the monthly market until the end of the year! The City is hosting its next Second Friday Farmers Market on Friday, April 9th, from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Lake David Park located at 450 South Lake Avenue in Groveland. The wearing of face masks is strongly encouraged for all City events.

The day’s scheduled amenities are as follows:

Randy McNeeley Concert: Friday, April 9th, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Randy McNeely is a rising country music artist best known for his soulful music style and skilled guitar performances. Socially distant circles will be available for those who desire to sit on the lawn and enjoy his performance.

James Otto Concert: Friday, April 9th, 7:30 PM to 9:00 PM. James Otto is a Grammy- nominated country music artist whose bluesy hits have landed him on Billboard’s Top Country Albums chart. Socially distant lawn circles will be available for guests wanting to picnic close to the amphitheater.

Groveland Museum Expo: Friday, April 9th from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM behind the E.L. Puryear Building located at 243 South Lake Avenue. The Groveland Historical Society will be open to the public for tours featuring the City’s multifaceted history. Local history lovers and longtime Groveland residents will not want to miss this opportunity to become acquainted with Groveland’s rich historical foundations.
