Congratulations to Thomas Battisto, chosen as Kiwanis Club of Clermont’s Member of the Month.
Thom has not only been a huge asset to the club but he also directs and operates his own non-profit organization, Read to Sydney.
Thom has dedicated his time to children with reading difficulties by utilizing specially trained dogs as comfort tools to children while they improve their reading skills.
In a partnership between the Kiwanis Club of Clermont and Read to Sydney, several thousand books were distributed to children throughout South Lake County during the pandemic lockdown in last year’s school session.
On Friday, April 30th and Saturday, May 1, from 8 am to 1 pm, there will be a Yard Sale Fundraiser benefitting Read To Sydney and Kiwanis Club of Clermont. Enjoy browsing and purchasing the many treasurers offered at the Yard Sale Fundraiser at 12552 Scottish Pine Lane, Clermont.
