City of Clermont Mayor brings home a win!

On July 23-24, five Lake County community leaders stepped up to compete at the 15th Annual Stepping Out for Education at the Clermont Performing Arts Center.

The Mirror Ball Trophy

Dancers performed to raise money for the Lake County Schools teachers and students and to win the coveted Mirror Ball.

The celebrity dancers were:

Dr. Emily Feltner, Assistant Superintendent, Lake County Schools;  Dina Simpson, Owner, Renew Day Spa and Renew Hair Salon; Tyler J. Borowski, Deputy Tax Collector, Lake County Tax Collector; Jerome Brouhard, Manager and Sommelier, Maggie’s Attic; Mayor Tim Murry, City of Clermont

The 2021 Mirror Ball winner was Emily Feltner! She was also the best Female Dancer both nights. Mayor Tim Murry was the top Male Dancer both nights.

Lake County Schools Superintendent Diane Kornegay was the 2019 Overall Mirror Ball winner of Stepping Out for Education.

The money raised for Lake County schools will be matched 100% by the state!
