After three long years, the Legends Golf Club is now open again to Legends’ residents and the public. Legends Golf Course Community is conveniently located on Highway 27 in Clermont, just north of Hartwood Marsh Road across from Kings Ridge. Legends Golf Couse is known for its beautiful rolling hills and scenic views. Their goal is to once again become known as Clermont’s finest golf destination.

The Legends Homeowner’s Association purchased the golf course and restaurant from the previous owners with plans to restore and this facility to the glory it once was and to improve it from there. Legends Golf Club shares beautiful views looking over 6800 yards with 18 challenging holes. The greens are all brand new as special certified TifEagle Bermuda Grass has been installed on the greens with new tees like they use on other championship courses like Bay Hill. The sand traps have been rebuilt with Bunker and PGA Certified Sand. The fairways have all be newly sprigged. Dead trees and stumps were removed, while beautiful new trees are soon to be installed. Legends Golf Club was originally designed by Lloyd Clifton and it was previously ranked as the 18th best course in the State of Florida. Down to Earth Golf has been hired to restore, manage and maximize the course in championship condition. They will now focus on more efficient pace control, including better tee time management while utilizing advances in state-of-the-art golf cart technology. With an innovative special new iPhone app, you will be able to measure the distances on each fairway. While addressing all of the water and maintenance issues, this golf course has been revitalized.

New Membership Opportunities: There are numerous membership options now available for residents and local area golf enthusiasts. Family Memberships include two primary adults and qualified dependents under the age of 24 from the same residence. Business and Corporate Memberships are now available.
