Lake County is inviting the public to attend a workshop to discuss sheltering best practices and policies with the Lake County Office of Animal Services. The workshop will take place Wednesday, Sept. 1 at 5:30 p.m. at the Agricultural Center, 1951 Woodlea Drive, Tavares. The workshop will not be live-streamed, and the public is encouraged to attend.

The purpose of the workshop is to engage the public in a discussion about animal welfare in our community and further the shelter’s commitment to better serving the public and pets.
