The Ray Goodgame Outstanding Student Leader Award honors students in the South Lake area, who like Ray, serve as champions for our community. 

Isabelle Millman, a South Lake High Student, was awarded the $1,000 SLCC Ray Goodgame Outstanding Student Leader Award by Kathy Judkins, SECO Energy.

Isabelle Millman has displayed exceptional leadership throughout high school by taking on roles such as Freshman Class Secretary and Treasurer, Sophomore Class Vice President, Executive Board Parliamentarian and Executive Board Vice President. She has been able to actively participate in school clubs and memberships while simultaneously balancing work-life and volunteerism. She played a part in the school’s Student Government Association, National Honor Society, Mu Alpha Theta, STEM Club, Debate and Black Student Union.

While being involved in school and after-school activities, Isabelle played for her school’s Junior Varsity Softball team and served as the manager for the Varsity Volleyball team. She is a member of the Beginning Women’s Choir, Bella Acapella and Vita Música. She has earned awards and recognitions from Daughters of the American Revolution Good Citizen, Sunshine State Scholar, Quest Bridge College Prep Scholar, Quest Bridge National College Match Recipient and AP Scholar with Distinction where only 10% of students nationwide receive this level of achievement by the time they graduate. For more than two years, she has served as a manager for McDonald’s putting in 20-30 hours per week while maintaining a GPA of 5.03.
