Clermont Police Chief Charles (Chuck) Broadway recently challenged Lake County Commissioner Sean Parks to an on-stage team competition similar to the game show “Password”. And on Saturday, September 24, at the Wesley Center, opposing teams squared off in the Battle to Benefit Find, Feed, Restore.
Clermont Police Chief Broadway noted in his challenge to Commissioner Sean Parks, “No Kryptonite, no villains nor Sean M Parks and the Lake County Highlanders are going to get in the way of the Clermont Police Department’s ‘Justice Team’ from being victorious in this friendly, but competitive game of Family Feud!”
Both teams played a great game but The Champions Belt stayed home for the second year in a row. The chief was true to his word. The Justice Team was victorious!
The Clermont Battalion Sea Cadets opened the evening’s event with the presentation of the Colors, followed by Clermont Mayor Tim Murry and Groveland Mayor Evelyn Wilson giving welcoming remarks.
Tim Moses was the Master of Ceremony and kept everyone laughing while keeping the teams in line.
The evening was not only fun but served as a Battle for Hope for Find Feed & Restore
