Julie Hanks and Ernie Prado are celebrating the 1-year anniversary of their business, Appliance Parts of Clermont.  The celebration was enhanced by members of the South Lake Chamber of Commerce presiding over a festive ribbon-cutting ceremony.

Julie and Ernie were formerly from Hanks Electric, a landmark in the community for over 65 years.  Julie recalls that the locally-owned and operated business started in her parent’s home in Groveland and eventually moved to Downtown Clermont, where it became a thriving business on Montrose. Over a year ago, they sold the Hanks Building, which is currently in the process of being remodeled and repurposed into an entertainment venue.

While maintaining the memories and legacy of the Hanks name, Appliance Parts of Clermont is establishing its own identity and clientele. Julie notes, “We are here to help our wonderful community and provide OEM parts”.

Visit Julie and Ernie for all of your appliance parts needs. They are open Monday through Friday from 8 am to 5 pm at 635 W Hwy 50 Suite D, Clermont FL 34711, or for more information, call (352)394-6111.
