CLERMONT – Street paving on Section 4A (front of the City Hall) is complete and has moved into section 4B (front of the City Center). Work also continues on the parking lot on 7th Street at Minneola Avenue.
City Center Street and work on the parking lot area are scheduled to complete before the Thanksgiving holiday but the work could be impacted by weather or other unforeseen circumstances.
When the work is completed, all construction-related materials and equipment, including barricades and fencing, will be removed and the street opened for holiday events. This will allow the established parade route and related activities associated with Light Up Clermont to continue as in years past.
Work on section 5 (intersection of Lake Avenue) is scheduled to resume the week of Jan. 2, 2023.
