November is National Hunger and Homelessness Awareness  Month.  It  was designated to bring awareness about the big problem the less fortunate face in society. With the upcoming holiday season and lack of food along with rising housing costs, it can be a particularly difficult time for many.  (Florida has 63,846 homeless school age children- 1,296 in Lake County!)   Through out the month donations are made  to feed and house those in need.    At New Beginnings we continue to strive to prevent homelessness and if the household loses their home, we are here to help them with housing, food, and other resources to stabilize their life.  Please donate so we can help us to spread a festive cheer to those struggling to meet ends meet.
