We welcomed Erika Neal and Sheila Mobley this week as guest speakers and representatives of the Stuckey Community Foundation Improvement Group and O.U.R Girls.
Combined, the two non-profit organizations are focused on life improvement and camaraderie in the Stuckey and South Lake County areas.
A focal point is the mentoring program offered by O.U.R. Girls. Programs such as cooking lessons, educational tutoring, dance lessons, and camping trips. The program is geared for grades K-12.
The Stuckey Improvement Foundation is currently planning its annual community Christmas dinner. A program that fed 300+ individuals last year.
