Cooper Memorial Library

The Cooper Memorial Library will host several programs in March including a Cooper Concert Series event, a lecture on the Fiesty Females in Florida History, and the Friends of the Library Opera Club. 

As a part of the Cooper Concert Series, the Library will host The Paul DeRitter Trio on Tuesday, March 7, 2023, at 5:30 p.m. Led by jazz musician and Lake County local Paul DeRitter, the Paul DeRitter Trio will perform a mixture of jazz standards along with Irish music in honor of St. Patrick’s Day. 

In honor of Women’s History Month, storyteller Carrie Sue Ayvar will present Feisty Females in Florida History, about the women who helped build, form, shape, and develop our state, and whose lives inspired hope and possibility. The presentation will take place on Wednesday, March 15, 2023, at 5:30 p.m. 

The Friends of the Library Opera Club will present La Boheme on Monday, March 27, 2023, at 1:45 p.m. in Room 108. Attendees will watch and discuss the opera as part of this ongoing educational series. 

All events are free and generously sponsored by the Friends of the Cooper Memorial Library. Everyone is welcome and encouraged to attend.
