CLERMONT (May 26, 2023) Congratulations to the student winners of the annual Drop Saver poster contest. 

For the tenth year, Clermont students were invited to participate in the annual contest sponsored by the American Water Works Association. The program was introduced in 1998 to bring awareness to the importance of protecting and conserving our most valuable natural resource on earth – water. 

Students were asked to get creative and express what water conservation means to them. City staff had the tough job of selecting the winners. The overall winning artwork will be displayed in City Hall. 

A very special thank you to all of the students who participated and congratulations to the winners: 

• Overall Winners: 1st – Mingna (Nina) Shi; 2nd – Andrea Alvarez; 3rd – Aubree Terrio 

• Second & Third Grade winners: 1st – Mingna (Nina) Shi; 2nd – Rafael Nunes; 3rd – Amoni Diloney 

• Fourth & Fifth Grade winners are 1st – Andrea Alvarez; 2nd – Lilah Winfrey; 3rd – Elena Perez 

• Sixth & Seventh Grades winners are 1st – Aubree Terrio; 2nd – Dakota Ocanas; 

3rd – Campbell Evans
