The clubhouse of the Clermont Garden Club is located at 849 West Ave., Clermont FL, part of the beautiful historic downtown Clermont. The clubhouse is surrounded by gardens filled with native plants designed to attract pollinators like birds, bees and butterflies. Plants in the garden include hibiscus, firecracker, snowbush, American beautyberry, amaryllis, milkweed, various types of bromeliads, and more. With such an extensive list of plants, the gardens need to be tended year round to keep them attractive and neat. One key Garden Club member that has been instrumental with maintaining the gardens is Pat Richardson. Pat has led the planning, tending and maintenance of the club’s lovely gardens for over 30 years. Pat can sometimes be found tending the gardens 4-5 days a week.

Pat was honored by her friends and fellow members at the club’s 2023 year-end luncheon. The club is highly appreciative of Pat’s dedication and long-term commitment to keeping the clubhouse gardens beautiful.
