The General Election of the City of Clermont shall be held on the 7th day of November 2023, between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. EST at such
precinct locations as determined and noticed by the Lake County Supervisor of Elections.

The purpose of this election is to elect:
City Council Member Seat 2 (Two year term)
City Council Member Seat 4 (Two year term)

A primary election will be held on the 22nd day of August 2023, if there are more than
two candidates who qualify for any one of the above seats.

At the November 7, 2023 election, the following question or proposition will be decided
by the qualified voters of the City of Clermont.

Currently, the City Charter provides council members to serve two-year terms
with a maximum of four consecutive terms. A yes vote for this amendment
effective with the elections in November of 2024 and 2026 approves
increasing council terms to four years, with council members elected in
November 2025 serving a one-year term and reducing term limits to three
consecutive terms. A no-vote rejects the amendment
