Alstair Clarke Jr., is a recent graduate of Lake Minneola High School and recipient of a $1,0000 scholarship from Beta Theta, ESA.

Alstair, the son of Nadine and Alstair Clarke of Groveland, was born and raised in South Lake and is a member of The Church of God. 

He will be attending Lake Sumter State College this Fall and presently plans to continue his education to become a dentist. When asked why he wanted to become a dentist, he said, “I want to put great smiles on faces”. 

Beta Theta ESA was able to provide scholarships and assistance to those in need across South Lake by the money they raise at their signature event, Beta Theta Mardi Gras Celebration and Fundraiser.

ESA is an International service and leadership organization making the world a better place since 1929.  Beta Theta, a chapter of ESA since 1979 has played an important part in helping its community.

The Beta Theta Mardi Gras Celebration will be held on Saturday, February 10, 2024, at the Clermont Performing Arts Center. Members of Beta Theta are planning lots of surprises and changes this year.  Support the chapter with your sponsorships, donations and attendance.
