Local families who participated in the first swim training to prepare for the race

A community SWIM RUN (or walk) will be held on Sunday, Nov 19. The events are open to Adults and youth, beginning at 1 pm, 2 pm and 2:30 pm. The event will utilize the beautiful Orlando Health–National Training Center pool, with distance options for ALL ages & ability levels.

  • Sprint: Swim 250 yards (10 lengths) in pool, Run/walk 5K 
  • Super Sprint: Swim 100 yards (4 lengths) in pool, Run/walk 2 miles
  • Mini Distance: Swim 50 yards (2 lengths) in pool **can use a kickboard**, Run/walk 1/4 mile 
heading toward the finish line

All participants will start by swimming laps in the pool and then they will grab their shoes and head out for the run/walk portion of the race.  After completing the out-and-back course, participants will finish under the arch near the pool and receive a finisher’s medal–and awards for top finishers.

The event is presented by Transcend Performance & Lifestyle Institute in partnership with Clermont Triathlon Club, Orlando Health–National Training Center, Sommer Sports, Clermont Police Dept. & South Lake Multisport Events.
