CLERMONT – Put on your ugly sweater and head downtown to kick off the holiday season at Light Up Clermont, themed, “Ugly Sweater”. 

Saturday, Nov 18 – January 8 – Beginning this weekend, the Enchanted Forest of Trees will be holiday-ready. More than 50 beautiful trees, decorated by local businesses and organizations can be viewed. Stroll along the path, enjoy the lights and holiday music to celebrate the season.

Friday, Dec. 1 at 5:30 p.m.  – the official, tree-lighting ceremony will be held. Mayor Tim Murry will “light” the tree at City Hall Park and live holiday music will fill the air as Santa and Mrs. Claus take time for photos at the Clermont City Center. Tasty food and holiday treats will be available throughout downtown until 9 p.m.

 

 

Saturday, Dec. 2 at 10:00 am – Clermont Hometown Parade will start at Waterfront Park and travel down W. Montrose Street. There will be decorated floats, holiday dancers, marching bands and of course, Santa Claus himself! 

Friday, Dec 8 from 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm  “Cookies and Cocoa” returns in
Downtown Clermont. As local entertainers perform at City Hall Park, merchants provide free, yummy cookies and rich, hot chocolate. Stroll around and see all of the decorated shop windows.
