Lake Sumter State College – We are happy to announce Kids’ College 2024 registration is open! Early College Programs would like to invite you and the youth in your life to take advantage of this amazing college preparation opportunity. Kids’ College is a series of “camps” taking place at LSSC Leesburg, LSSC South Lake, and (new) Four Corners at Lake Pointe Academy in June and July. These camps vary in length, theme, and class offerings. Kids from 1st to 12th grade can participate. Please find the attached Kids’ College schedule for dates, times, and locations.

What makes Kids’ College different from other summer camps?

Generally, summer camps have a prescribed agenda led by local organizations that provide all students a specific set of experiences. Unlike a regular summer camp, participants of Kids’ College do not share a prescribed agenda. The “camps” consist of classes that participants and their families get to select ahead of time, just like they would in college! This means that four different students who attend the same camp session could have completely different class schedules based on their selections.

How do I register?

Parents and guardians can register students through the Kids’ College Website. Please follow the instructions on the page, which includes clicking on “Conferences/Camps” on the left-hand side to see the classes/sessions available for registration. Please note that registration does not work on smartphones. Please use a computer for registration.
