Hwy 27, is excited to bring its Latin signature dishes to the community. The restaurant occupies the prior location of the Rusty Truck Diner, transforming the space into a restaurants for Latin cuisine lovers. Mamma Rita Pizzeria is expanding its Italian flavors with a second location at 1120 East Highway 50, Suite B, in Clermont. Known for its pizzas and family-friendly service, Mamma Rita’s first location at 7965 FL 50, Groveland has been a hit. Meanwhile,  Don Ceviche Peru/Mexico Restaurant, formerly  Smokin’ Jack’s Bar-B-Q, located at 100 S Hwy 27, Minneola, appears to be on hold. Although signs for the new restaurant are up, the project has stalled, leaving the community questioning its opening. The fusion of Peruvian and Mexican flavors promises an exciting new dining experience, and locals are awaiting the project to resume soon.
