This course is designed to guide you to the right places for research and highlight key elements to look for. What prompted our ancestors to move to America? Their motivations can be a powerful catalyst in our quest to uncover more about them. Grasp the research process and master the necessary steps! The course features four research websites, real-time demonstrations, and an introduction to useful research software. Topics covered include the Reasons for Immigration, a Basic Ancestry Research Plan, Exploration of Research Websites, and an Overview of Research Software.

The classes are standalone, so you can join any session without needing to attend previous ones.
