Montverde Academy’s Senior Class rolled out the red carpet for an unforgettable night at their annual prom, held on Saturday, April 26, at the American Adventure Rotunda in Disney’s EPCOT. This year’s event, themed “The Red Carpet Event of the Year: Met Gala,” welcomed students to an evening of glamour, celebration, and memories that will last a lifetime.
Seniors arrived dressed to impress, ready to dance the night away under the grand rotunda’s lights. The highlight of the evening was the crowning of the 2025 Prom King and Queen, Dahren Bonny and Bella Brito, who were celebrated with cheers from their classmates.
“Prom was the best night of my life and a great way to end the school year!” said Bella. “Winning prom queen was a dream I’ve had since I was little, and being able to spend the night with my friends for one last prom was amazing. I can’t wait to be able to tell my kids about it one day!”
“Prom had to be one of the best nights of my life,” said Dahren. “It was an amazing experience and the best way of going out with the rest of my senior friends. When they announced the prom king and queen, I was so ecstatic and shocked and a wave of happiness rushed through me. It was affirming and awesome for me and Bella considering we are both Conservatory students. It meant everything to know that people noticed us, not as ‘theater kids,’ but as friends. It was a victory not only for us, but for every student who’s ever felt like they don’t fit in.”
The event captured the essence of a true Met Gala night—elegance, excitement, and grandeur—perfectly marking the senior class’s final months together.
