Small business owners seeking guidance on financing opportunities will have the chance to hear directly from experienced lenders during an upcoming free seminar hosted by the Florida Small Business Development Center (SBDC) at Lake County.
The seminar, “Navigating Business Funding: Expert Lenders Panel,” will be held on Thursday, Sept. 24, from 10:00 am to 11:30 am at Cooper Memorial Library, Rooms 108 A & B, located at 2525 Oakley Seaver Drive in Clermont.
Florida SBDC-Lake County provides a wide range of services to entrepreneurs and business owners, including no-cost, one-on-one customized consulting for businesses from startup through second-stage growth, ongoing training through workshops and seminars, and specialized programs designed to support growing companies.
During the seminar, attendees will gain valuable insight into business funding options and have the opportunity to connect with lenders from several leading financial institutions. Panelists are scheduled to include representatives from Fifth Third Bank, Bank of America, First National Bank of Mount Dora, Regions Bank, Seacoast Bank, and the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA).
The discussion will cover key topics such as available funding options, loan qualification criteria, common challenges faced by applicants, and the documentation typically required during the lending process. Following the panel discussion, participants will have the opportunity to network directly with lenders and ask questions specific to their business needs.
