Gavin Adams, an extraordinary student at Lake Minneola High School and a beacon of inspiration in the South Lake area, received the Ray Goodgame Outstanding Leadership Award at the SLCC Breakfast on Jan 19.
With an impressive GPA of 4.7, Gavin has consistently demonstrated a commitment to academic excellence, earning Summa Cum Laude recognition in 9th, 10th, and 11th grades.
He is a Lake Minneola High School Robotics team member, actively contributing to the FIRST Robotics competitions.
On the sports front, Davin is a versatile athlete who played on both the Junior Varsity Football and Varsity Boys Golf teams.
He is passionate about community service and served as an assistant coach at Clermont Knights Pop Warner Football. He was a counselor at Radically Against Dystrophy (RAD) Summer Camp and served in the Student Ministry at Real Life Christian Church.
Davin’s academic achievements, athletic sportsmanship, community service, and leadership roles make him the perfect recipient of the Ray Goodgame Scholarship.
Davin plans to attend Mississippi State University, where he will major in Engineering.
