South Lake County: Easterseals, a well-known organization dedicated to supporting individuals with disabilities, has launched a new program in South Lake County aimed at providing vital assistance to individuals and families with special needs. Spearheading this initiative is Ericka Santiago, the Community Resource Navigator at Easterseals.
Catering to the communities of Groveland, Minneola, Mascotte, and Four Corners, this program is tailored to serve individuals and families with special needs, including those with physical and mental disabilities, aged from 0 to 22 years old.
The program encompasses a wide array of services aimed at enhancing the quality of life for those it serves. From aiding in navigating insurance processes to ensuring individuals are up-to-date with vaccinations, and facilitating access to crucial mental health services, Easterseals’ new program is designed to provide comprehensive support.
Easterseals encourages anyone who knows of individuals or families who could benefit from their program to reach out. The organization has provided a flyer and referral form, ensuring that those in need can easily access the support available.
